Dr. Amit Sabnis is one of our funded researchers at the University of California - San Francisco. They are one of
five institutions that received our Centers of Excellence (COE) grant, which helps select hospitals expedite the
development of new treatments for kids and train the next generation of leaders in development of new drugs to
help fight childhood cancer.
For COE grants, 50% of the funds enhance the institution's clinical trial infrastructure so they can give kids who
need more options the chance for new treatments to cure their cancer. The other 50% supports the training of
physician scholars like Dr. Sabnis so he can search for safer, more effective treatments.

Lady Jane and Co’s mission is to create awareness of childhood cancers and to provide financial support for childhood cancer research, scholarships, and for patient and family support programs. Formed by Texas families whose children have been diagnosed with childhood cancer, as well as the owner and founder being diagnosed with cancer. Lady Jane and Co raises funds through t-shirt sales and special events and distributes those funds Alex’s Lemondade Stand.
